- Nail filer.

First Way:
- Take three large bowls. Pour hot water into two bowls and acetone in the third one. Immerse your finger in the acetone bowl. Keep in mind that you only dip your finger as acetone can make your skin very dry.
- Let the fingers be submerged for about 20 to 30 minutes.
- Take your fingers out of the water and use a cotton ball to remove the first layer of acrylic gently and rub slowly so that the second layer can lift up.
- Again dip your fingers in acetone and keep it immersed for the same time duration ( 20 to 30 minutes).
- Keep doing this until all the acrylic is removed. Remember one thing that you should be patient while doing this process and avoid the temptation to remove acrylic as it can cause serious damage to the nail bed.
- Do the same process to remove the acrylic nails of the second hand.
- Wash your hands with a moisturising soap. A moisturising soap will help to reduce the dryness caused by acetone.
- Wipe it using a towel and apply a lot of almond oil to moisturise the dry skin.
Second Way:
- Use nail clippers to clip the fake nails down and remove some acrylic. Do this to the extent that it does hot hurt you otherwise serious damage can be caused to your nail bed.
- Allow acetone to penetrate by filing the nail surface to break down acrylic.
- Soak 10 cotton pads in the solution of acetone.
- Place the cotton ball on every finger and wrap the finger with aluminium foil. You can also use a non-plastic tape to cover it. If your skin is not sensitive to acetone, then you simply can soak your hands in acetone.
- Remember that air should not enter as it will stop the breakdown of acrylic.
- Let it be covered for 30 to 40 minutes.

- Coat your nails with a layer of petroleum jelly and make sure that it covers the nail bed too. Petroleum jelly will prevent you from dryness caused by acetone. - Sink your fingers in the bowl and wait until the glue used for the binding of the acrylic nail to the nail bed comes out.

3. Use a Dental Floss to Remove Acrylic Nails at Home
This is a quiet time-saving method to remove acrylic nails at home. Two people are required for this method.
Things Required:
- 12 inches Soft thread ( which is basically used by the dentist) to clean spaces.
- Metal nail filer.
Instructions to Follow:
- Take a metal nail filer and use it at the tip of the nail so that a floss can pass under it.
- Wrap a soft thread on the index finger of each hand of the other person.
- Now slip the soft thread under the edge you created.
- The second person will gently move towards the nail bed in a sawing motion.
- This will pop off the acrylic nail.
4. Items to Remove Acrylic Nails at Home

- Nail buffer.
- Coarse Nail filer.
- Nail clipper.
- Cuticle sticks.
