Easy Ways to Remove Warts

1. Tea Tree Oil to Treat Warts:

Tea tree oil has the presence of antiviral properties that fight against the virus which is responsible for warts. It reduces the inflammation and redness by stopping the growth of bacteria and prevents the affected area from further infection. Tea tree oil contains a powerful compound known as teripinen-4-ol which fights the HPV virus. The HPV virus is the main cause of warts. Warts fall off naturally because of the drying properties of tea tree oil.

How to Use Tea Tree Oil:

Follow the steps given below:

Method 1:

  • Use a medicated soap and warm water to clean the affected area.
  • With the help of a clean towel dry the area.
  • Use a cotton ball to apply tea tree oil on the wart.
  • Cover the wart with a clean cloth or a bandage.
  • Let the area be covered for at least 8 hours.
  • Uncover the area and wash it with soap and water.
  • Repeat the process to get rid of warts.

Method 2:

  • Mix almond oil or olive oil with tea tree oil.
  • Apply this mixture of oils on warts.
  • Massage the wart gently with your fingers.
  • Continue doing this for about 3 to 4 minutes.
  • Cover the affected area with a bandage.
  • Leave it for a few hours.
  • Repeat the process to remove warts.

Method 3:

  • Take a bowl of normal water and soak grapefruit seeds into it.
  • Let the seeds be soaked for at least 8 hours.
  • Grind the soaked grapefruit seeds to make a paste.
  • Add a few drops of tea tree oil in this paste.

  • Let is stay there for atleast 30 minutes.
  • Rinse the area with water.
  • Do this twice a day to remove warts.

  • Mix a few drops of lavender oil and tea tree oil.

2. Apple Cider Vinegar for Warts:

This inexpensive remedy works well to get rid of this common problem of warts. The acidic content of apple cider vinegar attacks the surface of warts which makes them fall off. You will be happy to know that when your wart will fall off, apple cider vinegar will make sure that not scar is left behind.  Although it does not affect the HPV virus but a large amount of this virus will come out with the wart.

How to Use Apple Cider Vinegar:

  • Use a pumice stone to file down the wart. This is done to ensure that your healthy skin remains safe.
  • Cover the surrounding area of the wart with petroleum jelly. The behind this is the petroleum jelly will protect your healthy skin from the harmful effects of apple cider vinegar.
  • Soak the cotton balls in apple cider vinegar thoroughly.
  • Keep these soaked cotton balls over warts.
  • Cover the balls with a bandage so that it does not shift from its place.
  • Let it stay overnight.
  • Repeat the process daily to remove warts.

Note: When you will use apple cider vinegar you wart will turn black before falling. This is normal, so don’t panic.

3. Baking Soda to Remove Warts:

The presence of strong antiseptic properties in baking soda helps to tackle the HPV virus which is responsible for warts. It has strong anti-inflammatory properties due to which the inflammation and redness are reduced in the affected areas.

Method 1:

  • Mix baking soda and white vinegar to make a paste.
  • Apply this paste on the wart. Do this with a cotton ball.
  • Repeat this twice a day to get rid of warts.

Method 2:

  • Add a little amount of castor oil in one tablespoon of baking soda.
  • Apply this on the wart and cover it with a bandage.
  • Let this mixture stay on the wart for about 8 hours.
  • Remove the bandage and wash the area with normal water.
  • Repeat the remedy to kill warts.

4. Garlic to Get Rid of Warts:

The redoubtable antibacterial properties of garlic make it an effective remedy to get rid of warts. These properties of garlic fight the HPV virus which is responsible for warts. The wart will blister and fall off as garlic has a caustic effect.

How to Use Garlic:

  • Squash a few cloves of garlic.
  • Apply this on the wart and cover it with a bandage.

How to Use Aloe Vera:

  • Extract the Aloe Vera gel from the Aloe Vera leaf.
  • Apply this gel on the wart and place a cotton ball over it.
  • Cover the cotton ball with a bandage so that it does not shift from its original position.
  • Change the cotton ball twice a day.
  • Repeat the process daily to get rid of warts.

7. Honey to Remove Warts:

The formidable antibacterial properties of honey fight against the HPV virus which causes warts. Manuka honey kills the wart by depriving it of oxygen. This is one of the effective methods to remove warts.  Manuka honey is known as the powerhouse of healing.

How to Use Honey:

  • Use a pumice stone to file the wart.
  • Apply a thick layer of honey on the wart and the surrounding areas.

8. Hot Water to Treat Warts:

This is one of the easiest methods to remove warts. It will prevent the wart and the surrounded area from infection by fighting the HPV virus. You just have to soak your wart in warm water. You can add Epsom salt in the water to increase its effectiveness. Use a pumice stone to file away the wart.
